Optima/Kugler complete line for coating microtiter plates / microwell plates for ELISA-kits with a capacity of up to 1,800 to 2,000 plates per hour consisting of:

Pago System 147 labelling machine for placing barcode-labels on each of the 12 rows/bars of each plate, verification of the barcode-label and its position using a camera control system with reject of faulty labelled rows/bars, capacity up to 1,800 plates per hour

Alter MTP-OM module with airblower using ionised air, deionisation, presence control of the 12 bar-code labels, capacity up to 1,800 plates per hour

Optima/Kugler WCL coating machine for coating the 96 wells of the microtiter plates with a coating solution, dosing/filling via lobe pumps with a dosing range from 40 to 160µL, IPC (In-Process-Control), fill level verification using ultrasonic sensors with reject, capacity up to 1.800 plates per hour

Optima driverless storage & distribution system: The coated microtiter plates are getting automatically stacked and stored in stainless steel containers which are put in dedicated places in a racking system a for incubation (16 to 30 hours). Afterwards the plates are automatically taken out of the containers (First In-First Out principle (FIFO)) and are placed in the infeed of the Optima/Kugler WTZ

Optima/Kugler WTZ washing & drying: extraction of the coating solution followed by up to 3 cycles of filling a coating solution with extraction after an exposure of 14-16 seconds (3 stations for extraction, filling/coating and fill level verification); the wells can be extracted leaving a volume of the coating of ≤ 2µL

Herma labelling machine for placing labels on the short side of the plates: the labels are printed on a Zebra 110 printer with print verification using a camera control system with reject system

For microtiter plates / microwell plates for virological use the labelled plates from Pago System 147 labelling machine were manually placed on the infeed of the following line:

Alter MWM 01-00 washing & coating line consisting of 3 stations. Station 1 fully automatic washing & coating of the microtiter plates (de-stacking – scanning – fill level verification – extraction – empty control – coating / washing – fill level verification – transfer of the plates to station 2 for further transfer to station 3 (the variable speed of the conveyor determines the time of incubation. Station 3 for washing the plates – extraction – empty control – washing – fill level verification – extraction – empty control – washing – fill level verification – extraction – empty control – stacking

Pink tray dryer for drying the microtiter plates, loading capacity from up to 3,169 plates, used temperature approx. 26-28°C
